Session Support Volunteer

Help make our sessions run smoothly and make families feel welcome across the Dengie.

What you'll be doing

You'll be helping to set up, welcoming families as they arrive, making teas and coffees, keeping things tidy and generally being an extra pair of hands on the day. It's practical, friendly support that makes a real difference to how our sessions feel for families.

Who we're looking for

Someone positive, kind and happy to muck in. You'll be comfortable chatting with parent carers and respectful of the fact that children take part in their own way. No experience needed, and no minimum commitment. An understanding of SEND is helpful but not essential.

What to expect

We'll give you a full induction before you start and cover any agreed travel expenses. You'll also need an Enhanced DBS check, which we can help you with if you don't already have one.

If you'd like to get involved with a local charity supporting SEND children and their families, we'd love to hear from you.
